I'm thinking about changing the lashing to Hamburg cane for the other half and maybe follow that with the copper wire and a coppery
colored bead to sit on top of the rim....just thinking out loud. What do you think?
I think I'll just go for it and take another picture when the basket is complete.
A very nice Basket Convention in Bloomington, IL is coming, Sept. 9-11, 2011 Camp Tuck.
Let me tell you these weavers are so talented and all of their baskets turn out just beautifully.
They all share their knowledge of weaving should you need a little help with something.
A lot of weaving fun with many friends. ;-P I love to vend here with Basket Bees.
Just drive my car into the building unload it and drive back out. Easy-peasy. *wink*
The bases are still heavy, but they don't have to be carried.
You can see my Basket Bees' base on the bottom of this basket.
I'll take a picture of our vending booth at Camp Tuck so you can see our product.
It is time to get back to lashing this basket.
